Every year, students around the world are itching for summer to start; with freedom from studying, exams, and homework. But things look a lot different this year; we don’t know if there will be a summer. With everything up in the air, most students just hope to see their friends and to finally be able to go out on Friday nights again. 

If all goes according to plan, many of the Cooper students will have at least one adventure during the summer time. Some students will be able to attend internship programs or even some college programs that are planning to still continue their sessions, which are happening all over the country. If not, the sessions are also happening online! 

Road trips and going to the lake are also on the agenda for some students, and going with friends who they haven’t seen in months makes it even better. Simply lounging next to the pool with a good book sounds like a good plan too. 

Seniors plan to go on their senior trips before parting ways, and look forward to setting up their dorms and adjusting to college life. Even a pandemic will not stop the seniors from saying one last goodbye to the school they love and the friends they’ve made. 

At the end of the day, all of the Cooper students want to live during their summer and not miss another chance to enjoy the company of their friends and the outdoors!
